Carl Johan De Geer
Carl Johan De Geer, born in Québec, is a Swedish artist, writer, filmmaker, musician, designer, cultural journalist, photographer, actor and scenographer. He made a name for himself during the late 60s through his participation in the underground magazine ”Puss” where he, along with others in his field, made fun of society in a somewhat outrageous satirical-like manner.
Carl Johan is a prominent figure in Swedish cultural life. He’s innovative, provocative and distinctively versatile as you can tell by his many occupational titles. His artwork has been showcased at museums all around Sweden and his work in film has been credited with many fine awards.
